First time to Pigeon Forge last week and this was on our top 5 to-do list. The outside of the building is awesome! Loved the displays, however, it was tough to enjoy a good majority of them because there was so many people in each area. I don’t think they ever stopped letting people in. Always felt like we were in someone’s way and bumping elbows constantly. I definitely recommend this Museum, but only at a time when it’s not packed like sardines.read more

I was pleasantly suprised at the museum. I did not expect them to have as much information and artifacts as they did. As true crime and history junkies we loved it and learned a lot. We did not have children with us and we did not use the audio tour. The website says it takes an hour to go through the general admission area of the museum but it took us about 2.5-3. But we also stopped to read everything. So if you are like us and plan to take in as much information as you can, give yourself extra time, it is worth it.. I think we will upgrade for the addition of the audio next time to make sure we are able to hear/read all of the exhibits. We highly recommend this tour.read more

What's not to love. I'm into all this. 2nd time I've been. Hot super emotional when it came to the Vegas shooting since Sonny Melton was one of our hometown Boys, and the 911. I have a retired NYPD officer as my neighbor across the street from me. He has told me some things that really hit home after seeing all this. Went to this museum on a whim...didn’t really know what to expect. It’s amazing what they have here...historical artifacts from the most notorious mobsters, serial killers, mass murderers, etc. THE Ford bronco, Ted bundys vw bug....gacys clown suits all made my hair stand on my arm. I just wanted to show my appreciation for the young man working the gift shop yesterday afternoon. Not even 10 minutes into our visit my son, who has autism, was overstimulated & went into meltdown mode. My husband & I quickly sped through the museum to leave & when I asked if there was any way to get a refund & explained what had happened he very kindly gave us one. He offered to switch our tickets to another day but since we were leaving this morning we didn't have time. We have visited before though & love it!! The scenes and exhibits that were displayed were amazing. Our kids had fun playing in the cop car and running through the lights. Somethings were a little scary for them. We took a lot of fun pictures and had a fun time. I recommend not bringing kids so you can look and read-without being distracted and they may be a little bored but if you're like us and have no sitter, bring them. Also we did not do any of the crime excursions that were offered so I can't tell you how that went but there were a lot of people in there walking around trying to find clues so I assume they might be a little difficult.read more

Interesting to walk thru and be reminded of crimes forgotten. Of course, read up on Frank and Jesse James since they were related to me and then John Dillinger, since my hometown still has a police booth built because of him. Very fun museum... spent about 3 hrs there... it was a bit crowded for the rules of pandemic right now...lots of touching and nothing being wiped down... the detective challenge was cool to make you look for more info and read but prize was definitely only good for littles. Laser challenge was ok... better for littles ... we didn’t opt for audio but prob could have spent more time there if I did audio. All in all I still recommend because it was such an awesome museumread more

I was very impressed right from the start! I loved how they had an employee filter groups inside to avoid overcrowding. This made it really easy to get started on the tour since my family and I didn’t feel rushed. It felt like we had enough time to read/do everything we wanted.
